We would like to thank each and every person who came out to support us for our 1st Annual Run for the Reins 5K!!  We would also like to thank all of the volunteers who helped make the day possible!!  A special thanks to the Village of Harrisonburg Service League and Ford’s Food Center for providing the pancake breakfast.  We are overwhelmed by the support we received for our first race with over 50 sponsors and close to 140 runners/walkers coming out Saturday.  We raised $10,500 through sponsors and race participants, which will help us serve our patients.  Each patient who receives services at Spirit Reins Equine Center, Inc. 501(c)(3) receives financial assistance, because no insurance covers the cost of a speech therapy session incorporating hippotherapy.  We are grateful for our community and the surrounding areas who have come together in support of the services we provide to individuals with disabilities in our area.  Without your generosity, we could not fulfill our mission!!!
